Projects
Find out early whether it works.
Pre-feasibility exists to kill bad projects cheaply and to give good ones a defensible basis for the next spend. MolecularX screens the technical concept, the delivered economics, the market for the output and the infrastructure reality, and reports plainly on whether to continue.

The problem
Projects routinely enter full feasibility on enthusiasm, then discover at a cost of hundreds of thousands that the offtake price ceiling was always below the production cost floor, or that the grid connection queue is longer than the funding window.
What you end up with
A clear early decision, with the reasoning documented and the gaps that feasibility would need to close.
What this includes
- A technical concept sound enough to cost, with the major options identified
- An order-of-magnitude economic case and the conditions it depends on
- A first read on demand and on who would actually buy the output
- A go / no-go / go-if recommendation with the reasoning and the gaps listed
How we approach it
Test the killers first
Power availability and price, water, offtake price ceiling, infrastructure and permitting. If one of these fails, nothing downstream matters.
Cost it roughly but honestly
Order-of-magnitude, clearly labelled as such, with the sensitivities that dominate.
Check there is a buyer
A project with no identified demand segment is not a project. This is the step most often skipped.
Recommend clearly
Including recommending that a project stop. That is frequently the most valuable output.
Questions
How is pre-feasibility different from feasibility?
Pre-feasibility asks whether the project is worth studying properly, at order-of-magnitude accuracy. Feasibility asks whether it is worth building, at an accuracy suitable for investment decisions. The first should be a fraction of the cost of the second.
Will you tell us to stop?
Yes, when that is the answer. An early no is the cheapest outcome a weak project can have, and it is a large part of why this step exists.
What do you need from us to start?
The concept, the intended location, any power and water information you have, and your view of the intended market. Gaps are normal at this stage and are part of what gets identified.
