Both sides of the procurement problem.

MolecularX works procurement from both directions: helping suppliers see the requirements forming across the industry, and helping projects and owners find suppliers who can genuinely deliver at the scale and specification required.

The problem

The molecular-energy supply chain is young, unevenly mature and hard to navigate. Capability claims outrun delivery records, lead times move, and a supplier who can build one unit is not necessarily a supplier who can deliver forty.

What you end up with

Either a clear view of the procurement coming toward your market, or a shortlist of suppliers who can actually deliver.

What this includes

  • Tender and RFQ visibility relevant to your category and region
  • Expected-procurement intelligence — requirements forming before they are published
  • Vendor landscape mapping with capability and delivery-record assessment
  • Supplier discovery across technology, equipment, engineering, EPC, infrastructure and logistics

How we approach it

01

Track requirement formation

Published tenders are the end of a process that has been visible for months.

02

Separate capability from claim

Reference installations, manufacturing capacity and delivery history, not brochure specification.

03

Assess at your scale

The relevant question is whether a supplier can deliver your volume on your timeline, not whether the technology exists.

04

Keep it comparable

Suppliers are assessed against the same criteria so the shortlist means something.

Questions

Do you run the tender process?

MolecularX can define requirements, build the shortlist and structure the evaluation. Running a formal regulated procurement is the owner's process, supported by their procurement and legal functions.

Do suppliers pay to be listed or recommended?

No. Supplier shortlists are built on assessed capability. Paid placement would make the shortlist worthless, which is the opposite of the product.

Which categories do you cover?

Electrolysers, fuel cells, compressors, pumps, valves, storage, purification, membranes, catalysts, power electronics, ammonia and methanol technology, crackers, carbon capture, process equipment, sensors and safety systems — plus engineering, EPC, infrastructure, logistics and testing services.
