This notice covers the website molecularx.io only. It is written to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality, and it will be updated as the business adds capability.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you use the enquiry form, we collect what you enter: your organisation, name, work email, country, your structured answers about what you provide and need, and any free-text detail. We use it to respond to your enquiry and to route it to the right person.
Information collected automatically
If — and only if — you accept cookies, analytics collect standard usage information: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and which calls to action were clicked. IP addresses are anonymised where the analytics provider supports it. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all and none of this is collected.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use it for advertising or build advertising profiles.
- We do not load any tracking script before you accept cookies.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you made an enquiry.
Why we are allowed to process it
For enquiries, because processing is necessary to respond to a request you made and to pursue our legitimate interest in conducting business correspondence. For analytics, because you consented — and you can withdraw that at any time by declining or clearing cookies.
Who we share it with
Service providers who operate parts of this site and our business systems, acting on our instructions: our website host, our analytics provider, our email provider, and the customer relationship system that receives enquiry submissions. We do not share enquiry details with third parties for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with it and to maintain a record of business contact, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's configured retention period.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@molecularx.io.
If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards for international transfers.
