Questions
We already have a project list. Is that a pipeline?
Usually not yet. A list becomes a pipeline when each entry has an assessed stage, a named developer, an identified offtake route and a known funding gap. Converting a list into that is a frequent starting engagement.
How many projects should a pipeline hold?
Fewer than most jurisdictions announce. A short pipeline of deliverable projects attracts more capital than a long one padded with announcements, because investors discount the latter heavily.
Do you bring the developers?
Where the mandate includes it, yes — developer and investor identification and introduction is part of what a facilitator does, and it is the main reason to use one rather than a report-producing consultancy.
